TOMSON RIVIERA
My first encounter with this DINK couple, born in the 1980s, took place in a cozy café in Puxi. Both seasoned expatriates with rich international living experiences and deep roots in the cultural and creative industries, they articulated their vision for a home with striking clarity and vitality. Our conversation flowed effortlessly, like reuniting with old friends who shared a wavelength.
Spanning 430 square meters, this spacious residence marks the third chapter in their marital journey, following a refined townhouse and a tranquil standalone villa. For their new abode, they gravitated toward the nostalgic glamour of Art Deco styling, boldly reimagining spatial layouts by shedding conventional practicality and traditional room divisions. Every design choice here serves as a love letter to their personal tastes and lifestyle.
The husband claims his sanctuary as a cigar connoisseur, while the wife revels in her long-coveted luxury walk-in closet. Their shared study forms a cozy intersection of their intellectual worlds–each space radiating their passion for living while sparking endless creative possibilities for our team.
With a laugh, the wife confesses her days revolve around art, fine wine, and camaraderie. She thrives on hosting gatherings in every corner of her home, whether intimate evenings with close friends or vibrant parties for two dozen guests. This inspired a cascade of imaginative requests for the living and dining areas, which we’re eager to bring to life.
Perhaps life is meant to be a technicolor feast – after all, it belongs entirely to its owner, and every choice fuels one’s dreams. It’s an immense honor to help shape this embodiment of their ideals. Let us all anticipate the day when this bespoke paradise for two blossoms into its full glory…
